Bitvise SSH Client is used to connect to SSH servers. Typically, it operates interactively, running only when a user initiates it. However, it can also launch in an unattended mode to execute scripted commands, perform file transfers, or maintain an SSH connection for port forwarding. Moreover, the SSH client allows users to access a terminal console on an SSH server, initiate port forwarding, and conduct file transfers to and from SSH servers using SFTP.
Bitvise SSH Server accepts connections from SSH clients and is designed for long-term operation. Additionally, it allows the server administrator to configure access for SSH clients. Furthermore, the server can be set up to offer access to a terminal console, enable port forwarding, or facilitate file transfers to and from the server using protocols such as SFTP, SCP, or FTPS.
