Recent Issues and Solutions
Windows 11 version 24H2-26100.1586 is the last version that allows for the proper installation of the official Shadow Defender. Subsequent versions of Windows 11 24H2 do not support the normal installation of the official program.
Shadow Defender cannot be installed on Windows 11 24H2 because Microsoft blacklisted the final installer, Setup.exe, using the application compatibility client library file apphelp.dll.
After the October 2024 patch update, users will no longer be able to install the official Shadow Defender on any version of Windows 10 and 11. But try the follow steps.

Step1, Use 7-Zip to extract the Shadow Defender installer, such as 1.5.0.726.exe, to obtain three files: Setup_x64.exe, Setup_x86.exe, and Setup.exe.

Step2, Then, use 7-Zip to extract the embedded installer Setup_x64.exe into a folder named Setup.
